2025 Meating Place Recap

October 2025

Celebrating 45 years of leadership! In October 2025, MPO held their bi-annual Meating Place Conference, which took place at the picturesque Blue Mountain Conference Centre at Blue Mountain. The event drew a remarkable 253 attendees from various corners of the meat industry.

Throughout the conference, our members had the opportunity to participate in a multitude of  activities, including the TableTALK Tradeshow, which showcased the latest innovations and products in the industry. Educational sessions delved deep into crucial topics, while the Handtmann Reception provided an exciting networking opportunity. Additionally, the Ontario’s Finest Butcher Competition and the Awards Gala added an extra layer of anticipation, celebrating outstanding talent in our industry. 

Against Blue Mountain’s backdrop, Meating Place Conference provided valuable insights and left everyone motivated to shape the future of the meat industry.
