2020 Meat Industry Expo Cancellation
After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel this year’s Meat Industry Expo originally scheduled for November 1-2 at the International Center in Toronto. We would like to thank everyone who provided feedback to help us with making this difficult decision. Our team will be reaching out to those who expressed interest in exhibiting this year with cancellation details.
We will continue building out a memorable 2021 event series, including Meating Place to be held next fall. Details will be shared via Word on the Block and on our website as they become available.
2019 Event Features
Visit the ‘Flavours’ section and try some of the finest meat and poultry products available in Ontario. Sixteen OIMP members will be on hand sampling, answering questions, and talking to visitors about how they may get these unique artisan products on their shelves. A local winery, and host for the Saturday night gala, Ravine Vineyard, and a craft brewery, will also be present to complement the food offerings with the best the region has to offer.
Enjoy a Cold One
Stop by the Wellington Brewery booth located in the Flavours section for a taste of cold refreshing locally crafted beer courtesy of Multivac Canada. Wellington Brewery is Canada’s oldest independently owned microbrewery. Based in Guelph, Ontario, they craft their award-winning beers in small batches using the freshest all-natural ingredients.
Ontario’s Finest Butcher Final Round
The final round of this annual competition takes place right on the tradeshow floor Friday afternoon, with the winner announced Saturday night at the Red Carpet Awards Gala. Watch as three top Ontario butchers compete head-to-head for meat-cutting supremacy.

Red Carpet Awards Gala
The Expo culminates Saturday night as we roll out the red carpet and honour our members at Ravine Vineyard, in nearby St. Davids. Complimentary shuttles will depart from the Hilton (our host hotel) starting at 5:30pm.
